SPRING, I just love it. Sure, I love all the seasons—but there’s something uniquely special about Spring.
It’s fresh. It’s new. It feels like life waking up again. And isn’t that what we’re all searching for? New life.
Maybe that’s why we’re drawn to sunrises, the start of a new day, a fresh habit, a positive change—even the joy of meeting someone new.
There’s always that possibility: that this new thing could be the one to shift everything, to make life better.
We may not say it out loud, but deep down, we’re all chasing something—wholeness, growth… maybe even perfection.
Yes, the Christian life can be a struggle. But we don’t live without hope.
We live with a future perspective. When we truly believe that this life isn’t the end—that eternity is our real, lasting home—it changes everything. The heavy things of this world lose some of their weight. We begin to relax, to lean into God and His ways, to value the beauty of “new-fresh-change.”
One day, we’ll experience change so profound, so glorious, that it will blow our minds.
So yes, I love Spring. I love new things. I love meeting new people.
And speaking of new—there’s this beautiful promise in Scripture:
“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)
God’s Word fills us. It satisfies, it encourages, it challenges—and somehow, it always feels new, especially as we battle sin and pain day by day.
Being around others who believe—who trust in God, in the saving grace of Jesus Christ, who lean on the Holy Spirit and support one another—there’s just nothing like it.
That’s the life we’re meant to live. We need it. It’s fresh. It’s always new.
And it’s never too late. Never too late to draw a line in the sand, write “START,” and give it our all to finish well. It’s why I wrote my book “You Finishing Well”
What a way to live.
GOD. JESUS. HOLY SPIRIT, please renew us. Help us. Heal us. Give us fresh eyes for eternity. This life isn’t all there is. Help us see the new life and future You’ve promised. IJNIP amen ♥️
