How did everything begin? The universe, earth and all creation?
One commentator said “if you can’t believe in God, you can’t believe in anything in the Bible.”
Creation is the evidence of God. No, you can’t explain where God came from, yet no one can explain creation either - other than it was created.
The Psalmist said once;
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies announce what his hands have made. Day after day they tell the story; night after night they tell it again.” (Psalms 19:1-2 NCV).
One of my favorites is when the Apostle Paul said:
“There are things about him that people cannot see—his eternal power and all the things that make him God. But since the beginning of the world those things have been easy to understand by what God has made. So people have no excuse for the bad things they do.” (Romans 1:20 NCV )
I agree it’s hard to understand that God always existed.
Everything made can be traced back to a maker. Everything designed has a designer. Yet when it comes to the most intricate and most incredible detail of the universe, earth, and creation, it’s simply mind boggling.
But so it God. So is truth. So are all the details that create balance, function and purpose within created things. It’ beyond our minds capability.
I’ve read many books by previous atheists trying to prove that there is no God. As they discover the created evidence, they come to a conclusion that there must be a God- mostly based on creation.
So it’s true - As the Bible opens with “In the Beginning God” … He really is the beginning - and the end.
No advice from the Bible has ever been discovered to fail. No one, ever, has been able to provide evidence of evolution and the lack of existence of God.
It’s true when “God said, “Let us make human beings in our image …” (Genesis 1:26 NCV) We were made to have a relationship with him.
GOD, I’m sure there are days that we all ask “Is it all really real?” Yet, when we stop and look, listen and ponder, your creation tells the story. The evidence of your existence is in creation. Your truth, counsel and Spirit brings a certain weight and purpose in our life. I believe in you. I trust you. I need you. Thank you. IJNIP amen ♥️
